Sightseeing Adventure in a small town, Greenfield, greater Manchester

    Living in Manchester, Greenfield would be one of the best choices if you suddenly want to enjoy nature scenery. Because it takes only half an hour by train from Piccadilly Station.      Greenfield, it is literally full of lush green grass. There are also many cyclists along the road, which is very suitable for sightseeing with bicycles. Sometimes, you can also observe herds of goats and sheep up close. What makes me feel particularly poetic is that occasionally flocks of birds whistle past the deserted buildings. Maybe, we don't need to travel far. In fact, not far from you, there might be a very picturesque town waiting for your visit.

A leisurely stroll around the Manchester

One of the benefits of the Christmas holiday is that you can take a short journey as you please. As a new joiner in Manchester, I preferred a leisurely stroll in the bustling city centre. So I randomly chose a seemingly well-known scenic spot, mustered some courage and expectation to explore the unknown, moved forward leisurely, and enjoyed the surprises that lay ahead.   Manchester is known for its wealth of museums. Then I chose the People's History Museum as the first stop.  At first glance, the exterior of the building is smaller than I expected. However, as soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a 3-floor high wall that left me in awe. A timeline and a motto are articulated on the wall: 'There have always been ideas worth fighting for.' I didn't expect something like this. At that time, strikes had been quite frequent due to roaring inflation. My friend and I sometimes murmured about the inconvenience it had brought us.
